I like Sullen. I think it is cool that I can get artwork from some of my favorite tattoo artists on a t-shirt, and that money goes into finding other tattoo artist that deserve recognition. They do a lot of promotion for the artists that are on their "team". I dig it.

I think nothing special about them....it's just another brand of clothing, they got some sick ass shirts designed by some sweet ass artists...I have a couple of their shirts now that I think about it.

But I mean, they're held in no higher regard to me than say T.I.T.S. or Stussy or other brands I get down with, over all I fucks with them. They pump their shit and their squad HARD!! That's whats up

I have thought about Sullen, a lot, back when I was trying to decide what I was going to do with FallingApartArt. They have solid design concept now - skulls, lady heads, and script. If you like those things, they're your t-shirt designer. Personally, I like to mix stuff up, but that's my taste. I do like their cut n' sew stuff, but it's not that different than Lucky 13.

PS- I'm about done with skulls- time to bring back the babies

Same with Black Market Art, which doesn't get enough hype, even though it has Tim Hendricks all over it. Whatever, Sullen isn't my style of clothing, but people can make and buy what they want.

Yeah, I find most of the Sullen stuff I've seen a little too "loud" for my personal taste. I really like most of the BMAC stuff I've seen, however, and am waiting for my local shop to get a few specific shirts in my size.

Cool... I always love the opinions on here, seems like everyone is always straight up. I like most of their gear. I'm a bit turned off by way they seem to feed in to the rock star tattooists shit, but that's life. I'll definitely have to check out the other brands you all mentioned.

what are those shirts with the skulls and bandanas?? I hate to admit I like the image, I hate to admit it because the people I see wearing them are metro ,fohawk , skinny jean fake diamond wearing guys that swag so hard it makes them limp

I like the lucky13 stuff. I may order something from there. I think I'm kind of cheap when it comes to clothes... lots of plain t's and jeans. I would like some more "cool" tshirts, but I seem to just look and look endlessly and never pick anything out.

Outside of my collection of all black Hanes shirts and death/black metal shirts, I only buy from Shirt and Destroy as they are a bit more "laid back" in look than the in your face tshirts of Sullen. Plus they are in Brooklyn so no shipping!

    • Keep looking and next time book mark it. 😉
    • Small detailed tattoos on thin delicate skin are the most prone to blowouts. I don’t think there is anything you can do to cause or prevent them.
    • Hello everyone! on Friday I got my first tattoo, a small dagger, like 5cm on the back of my hand. I think this was the absolute right decision, but I am a bit afraid of the aftercare, because there are some Details, which I would like to preserve. As this is my first tattoo and there are three questions which I couldn’t find answers on: No.1 I am currently living in Athens and the tap water is relatively heavy chlorinated, which makes me unsure about showering and washing, should that be any problem? No.2 During the days the sun is always shining. In the last few days I’ve hid in my flat to let the tattoo heal but tomorrow I have to get to work, would it be an idea to use a band aid to cover the tattoo from the sun? No.3 The possibly most shitty thing with this small detailed tattoo would be blowouts, how do they happen? Until now everything looks just fine, but I am a bit scarred to F*** everything up if I stretch my hands to strong or move them in a wrong way. I am completly paranoid about everything right now, but I think that’s kind of normal.   Thanks for the help and best regards! Anton
