  1. Here we go, done by Darcy Nutt at the RVA convention this weekend. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, she is top class in every way possible! There's some weird shadows and lighting in the pics, cause they do the piece no justice at all.

I got my first-ever hand-poked tattoo last night from our own @cltattooing: It's also my first scorpion. Let's be honest: I needed one.

A weird thing about this place is that you've seen multiple pictures of my butt before you've seen one of my face.

It's done. It's actually done. The last session was the worst one I've had to endure. Major touch ups to the wind bars/clouds, double lining, basically every soft spot got hit in one day. By the end I was definitely spent, but so stoked. Dana was very pleased with how this came out, and that makes me happy too. He wants me to show up to the Baltimore or Philly conventions and do the back piece contest. This took a year and a half, and it was an amazing experience.

    Hi - Newbie from Ireland

Hi folks, Long time lurker but first time poster. Have been learning plenty here since I started paying attention!! Don;t have pics of all my tattoos so will obviously need to get that done asap. A quick run down of my tattoo history is as follows (in chronological order): - Pair of wings by Sean (I think) in Zulu, Dublin (a typical first tattoo, I'll leave it at that...) - 3/4 Japanese-style/koi sleeve by Jani in Wildcat, Dublin (again, in hindsight, probably should have been paying more attention/completed more research!) - Sand timer/roses on inside of bicep by Tyler James Densley in Seven Seas, San Diego - Latin Script by Kris Magnotti, Adorned NYC - Half sleeve on outside of arm by Ross Nagle at Allstar, Limerick. An owl on top of a heart with blood and webbing. - Gramophone on outside forearm by Kim Anh Nguyen in Salon Serpant, Amsterdam - Sugar skull/raven/panther head with roses on inside of forearm by Ross Nagle at Allstar, Limerick At the minute, I only have pics of my 2 Ross Nagle pieces. The Tyler James Densley piece is blurred out in the first pic. The top of the sugar skull looks a little distorted in the 2nd pic because of the stretch in my arm. The Kim Anh piece is on her Instagram, is there any way I can get that across to here?

It was a total breeze! And a very interesting experience to have no sound at all. I've had quite a bit of tebori done, which is far quieter than a machine, but not at all silent.

  31. Thanks all! It's definitely a large undertaking! Currently into day two, about an hour in.. Here is a photo taken this morning of yesterday's progress.. Excuse the undies & the angle - my friend took this photo when I got out of the shower! Will add more as I can take them, working on upper back today so can be difficult to get good action shots via selfie!

  32. Hi, here is a healed photo of the hell scene that Tim Lehi did on me last month. He is my favourite tattooer and it was so fun to get this piece from him. I also posted it in this months contest: http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/lst-announcements-contests/6076-november-2014-tattoo-month-contest-page4.html#post105993 The size of the photo might be a bit too big, but I will fix it as soon as I can.

  33. Okay, we are six hours in of day 1 of 3.. Here are the first few shots. We're doing full back in three days, a third at a time, so we don't have to keep going over fresh ink from previous days :) Artist: Erin Chance, tattooing at Sacred Tattoo in Auckland, New Zealand

  34. Went to see Steve Wimmer on Monday in Delaware. Took a little over 6 hours, my longest sitting. Thought I was gonna tap out but I champed it. Not gonna lie, the last hour was rough on me though. (Cell phone pic)

  37. Ok edited to make it not so massive, we'll see if that works. Tried to get a head on photo to show the other side as well, but it made it distorted as it wraps around and looked funny. Done by Ellen Murphy at Lombard St Tattoo, Portland. As I said the other day, rad shop, Ellen was awesome, great day all around. Picked off the wall from a Stell sheet, mostly healed now.
