I think symmetry is often overrated!
For what it is, it looks fine to me.

Maybe it would look slightly more "balanced" if you also had contrasting/complementary work on your shoulders/upper arms?
Otherwise, it's an impressive looking piece!

Horitomo. Two sessions, all electric (rotary and coil).  Photos do not do this justice! I will say that first four hours of outlining and shading was super hateful. Of course, I am already considering having him do my left shin. What is wrong with me? 😜

Latest one. I don't care what anyone says. Chest hurts. My other arm is tattooed from shoulder to finger tip, but wow this just hurt.

what you're feeling sounds normal to me,I call it " tattoo remorse",IMO it's very common,I have a lot of tattoos and still get it a little.it will pass.

I am perfectly fine with my hubby not being tattooed...ever. 

I kind of like the asymmetry...

My red footed booby was finished today.  I love the way my sleeve is progressing.  When I got my first tattoo a year ago, I thought it was going to be my only tattoo.  Hahahaha!!!

Just my opinion, but it's pretty busy now. If you add much more it's going to be really hard to read. Just my opinion, but I don't like tattoos that you have to look at for 10 minutes to figure out what the hell they are.

Wife and I decided to try and knock an item off the bucket list, so we are in Titusville, Florida. Toured the Kennedy Space Center (three days worth), and hope to  see a Falcon 9 go up on Tuesday. Won't stick around for Falcon Heavy (it's getting nuts around here already for that). Did get to see Falcon Heavy do its Static Hot Fire Test this week: (that was pretty awesome)

You're fixing it or a professional is fixing it?
I'm not sure when you had it done but it's generally recommended to wait until the skin is fully healed so you don't traumatize the area too much and your artist has the best skin to work with. This is usually at least 2 months after getting it done.

Here is a shot of my back all healed and settled. Started and finished in 2017. Done by the one and only Eric Perfect in Philadelphia, PA.

Aaaannnndddd one more: this tiger is an add on from Colin Baker who works at State of Grace Tattoo in San Jose, CA. The tiger wraps around the inside of my right thigh. The Lady Warrior tattoo was completed in August earlier this year. The tiger was an add on. He also completed a very intricate Rat Warrior (yup the Chinese zodiac thing is lit on my leg), but that one was done on the back of my thigh. When I can figure out how to do a 360 degree shot of my leg, I'll post pictures of the complete battle scene. The Chinese calligraphy that I posted above, compliments this battle scene. Loosely translated it means: Brave woman, escape the ordinary. 

Maybe we need a photo of the OP's penis - so we can do a side-by-side comparison, just in case...?

Awesome thread-My parents are in their 80's. Father is a very conservative Baptist minister. My mom was always cool. When I got my first ink a long time ago, it was never an issue.  I respect my parents even though I am 56. At my age its cool if my ink peaks out from under my short sleeve shirt. LOL
You know it's good when your mom knows you wear a confederate flag and she smiles.
 
My Niece thinks I am crazy..just a generational thing I guess

I am a history buff and a bit of a rebel from way back. Went against the current tide and got a Confederate flag.  It  does not show it under a short sleeve shirt. Some of my ink is for me and no one else.
On the other hand...if my dragon half sleeve peaks out from my shirt I have great pride and will give you my artist card.

the "thin blood" excuse is a new one, for me . . .
