so i got this tattoo a week ago now, it looks normal healing when i look at it, but when i shine a light on it, this section i circled has a yellowish tint to it. someone i trust tattoo-wise mentioned it's just dried plasma, which makes sense when i read plasma is usually a clear to yellowy color, and my artist who i of course also trust said it's just irritated. i know my skin is super dry in this pic and also irritated, i just wanted to get a third opinion anyway because i also trust the regulars in this forum from lurking lol.
it doesn't smell, nor feel hot or hurt, nor is pussing or leaking anything, and the redness from when i first got it has gone down a lot, so probably not infection right?
i've just never noticed a yellowy/greenish tint on the scab on any of my other tattoos before, so i got concerned. also, where it's yellowy, it looks like there's a crack there. i've seen cracks plenty of times but again never a yellowy tint in it.
is that yellowy part just dried plasma in the scab?
there are things that i have anxiety about with tattoos of mine that i didnt think about before i got them.
one of my tattoos is the name of a person who died. there are others who knew the person, and i sort of have anxiety about them wondering if its alright for me to have their name tattooed on me.
also i have anxiety about some family members and friends of my family seeing them. i dont really have a problem with just wearing clothes that make them invisible but its something that came to mind after i got tattooed.
i feel like people cant be expected to be imaginative enough to really think about every single possible way a tattoo will effect their lifestyle. even with that said though i kind of feel bad about not having the mental creativity to come up with the questions that would have lead to the answers that would have helped me.
