Xam, sometime next summer-ish (I'm about 10 months in to the waiting list) - Skull with crown of thorns and a snake, maybe a couple of other bits too depending on finances and what not at the time.

Hoping to get a couple of bits at Smith St. when I go to New York for a friend's 30th next August. Also hoping to get more done by Chad Koeplinger, probably when he's back in London.

Waiting for Valerie Vargas' waiting list to open up... which I guess may still probably put me in somewhere 2013.

i secretly hope that this thread spirals into a competition to see who'll be the first to get tattooed in 2012.

I have an appointment booked for the 6th of Jan

For 2012 I will have my sleeve completed (hopefully 2-3 more appointments) by Shawn at Ink studios. After its completed, I think I will take a small break from getting tattooed for a few months (5 or 6) so I can save up again for what I have been planning out to have done for my legs so its just a matter of hooking up with my artist of choice and get started!

It is going to be tough to figure out which leg to start first. . .

I hope to get my rib koi finished, then get to work on my chest, and start working it all into a traditional meets new school japanese sleeve and chest. Just can't do it all in one year, but it does look like its going to be a good year and hope everyone has a bitchin 2012, except until the Apocalypse comes :)

      First let me say I've never seen exactly that related to tattoos. Second, I am NOT a doctor, so take any advice with a grain of salt and follow it at your own risk. I do have something like that which appears on my face from time to time. After multiple visits to the dermatologist, which didn't fix it, I finally came up with my own treatment. Whenever it flairs up, I just wipe the area down with plain rubbing alcohol three or four times a day to keep it dry. That usually works within a couple of days. Again, I'm not a doctor, but I don't think it would hurt anything for you to try that. Good Luck.

      Hey, I have a serious problem! I got a tattoo in Manila 4 weeks ago. The artist is very well known and is one of the most renowed. 2 day after tattooing, small pimples began to form on my thight an many at the tattoo. 3 days later i had fever at night (just at night). After that, the pimpels began to spread very quickly all over the body. (back stomach etc..) I have now been to 3 doctors and everyone is at a loss. The blood work is fine and with no anomalies. Antibiotic ointment and cortisone ointment did not help. Xyzall allergy tablets did not help either. When i took cortisone tablets, 90% of the pimpels disappeared on the tattoo, but not on the other parts of the body. Now that I´am no longer taking cortisone, the pimpels on the tattoo are starting to grow back again very quick. On the other parts of the skin , the pimpels are sometimes lighter and sometimes stronger. This can be change hourly. They don´t hurt and hardy lever itch. Of course I´am afraid of a tattoo allergie. Has anyone already had this problem ? Does anyone know what that could be ? I add photos: 1) Photo directly after tattooing. 2) 2 Photos with the pimpels after a week 3) After 3 weeks while taking cortisone. 4) Photo of the body on the left.
