Recommended Posts

Time for another contest.

RULES:

The tattoo photos posted in this thread will be submitted for polling of Last Sparrow's Best SNAKE tattoo. This is all in good spirit and fun of course. The submission process opens on the 1st of the month and ends on the 20th of the month. After that there will be an open poll for one week, which will close on the 27th, and the tattoo with the most votes wins.

Your tattoo picture must be posted in this thread (both tattooers and tattoo customers can win) in order to qualify.

  • Include tattoo artist name & tattoo shop with your photo/post.
  • You MUST be the one who has the tattoo or did the tattoo.
  • It MUST be a finished tattoo
  • It MUST fit the theme of the contest
  • Each member may submit up to 3 tattoos for each contest.

The theme of January is:

SNAKES

Well, speaking of Scott, here is my shin/almost entire lower leg. It wraps in a way that makes it really hard to get a good shot. Done in one shot at the Pagoda City Convention in 2015. I'm posting from work and Photobucket is blocked, so hopefully these pics work out.

Also, it should be noted that @embers and @graybones TOTM winning snakes are two of my favorite snake tattoos. They're incredible.

    • cool tattoo. no need to cover it up... it'll fit right in with a traditional sleeve no matter which way it's facing. don't overthink it! i'd say the "rules" are that tattoos should face forward if they're on the side and face inward if they're on the front or back. i did a quick search of Bert Krak's IG for some examples. The peacocks on the back of the calves both face inwards. But on the client with the eagle backpiece, you can see a skull facing in and a hannya facing out... and no one will say that one's right or wrong. it's not even consistent and it doesn't matter! 😃 Just keep getting tattooed and it'll be all good!
    • that's correct orientation IMO
    • should be facing into the center of the body, like you have it, right?
