Weird moment recognising the guy from Stewart's blog with the Saga/Reinke sleeves - those are some awesome looking tattoos (sorry if I'm being weird again and you're reading this, ha!). I saw this on her instagram yesterday and said, "FUUUUUUUUUUCK," is what I said. Sometimes, I see a tattoo so good that it almost makes me mad that it's on someone else. Almost. Really, though, I'm just happy that it exists. Enjoy it, because it's one of the best eagles I've ever seen. It's kind of weird, I was out last night and a couple of times people came up and were like 'you're the guy with that eagle by Valerie' - Instagram and the internet is crazy like that. Also, maybe it's just where it is, but it's healing up really well. My other tattoos have tended to scab up quite a lot, they come out fine in the end, but this one really hasn't very much - I bought some Dr. Bronner's liquid soap to clean it up with, recommended by Valerie, and haven't really done anything else to it. Richard Stell, guest spotting at Smith Street Tattoo in NYC. It was an awesome experience. Richard is hilarious. He had my abs cramping up at one point from laughing to much... or it was the hypoglycemia setting in. I don't seem to have a pic from his second session but a lot of black was added and some cool swirls. Tomorrow he will get color in the flowers...
