I had promised myself NO MORE DANG TATTOOS in 2011 (which has seen the Abe Lincoln/Panther Paws tattoo, the Hand of Glory, the devil head, the skull and bee and the fingers- more tattoos than I got from 2008 to 2010 combined) but my girlfriend (the lovely Claire) told me tonight that my birthday present is a gift certificate* for some time with Robert Ryan.

I guess there's one more to sneak in for 2011.

*she was too lazy to go to Asbury to get the cert, so she is giving me money with a note that says 'for a robert ryan tattoo'.

I'm getting too old for this shit.

I was in the shop with my wife when you were waiting to get tattooed by him. I believe I delayed the tattoo a little bit whilst Chris was trying to make change for a 50 so I could buy a print from him. The tattoo looks great!

Rory I can already give you one - friggin hot!! I have friends in Osaka and the minimum temp is around 26, maximum 31 (thats degrees celsius people, I have no idea about Fahrenheit!) I thought living in Queensland I could handle most humid climates but it gets sooooo muggy in summer there its simply not funny (I was there about 5 weeks ago?)

When do you leave Rory? And if you need any info on shops/cool things to do around the Kansai region hit a brother up ;)

Love it! How stoked was Ben to do that? I think he has a Frenchie (and a crazy chihuahua, if I'm not mistaken).

He's got 3 chihuahuas and I believe 2 are tattooed on him... Taki has a frenchie :D

He actually said pets are a challenge because it needs to look not just like a dog but my dog. And it does!!

The last time I was at State of Grace, there were 5 Frenchies there: Taki's, Jill', Fil's, and...Colin's? Damn, that's only 4! All I know is that the cute factor was on blast.

      First let me say I've never seen exactly that related to tattoos. Second, I am NOT a doctor, so take any advice with a grain of salt and follow it at your own risk. I do have something like that which appears on my face from time to time. After multiple visits to the dermatologist, which didn't fix it, I finally came up with my own treatment. Whenever it flairs up, I just wipe the area down with plain rubbing alcohol three or four times a day to keep it dry. That usually works within a couple of days. Again, I'm not a doctor, but I don't think it would hurt anything for you to try that. Good Luck.

      Hey, I have a serious problem! I got a tattoo in Manila 4 weeks ago. The artist is very well known and is one of the most renowed. 2 day after tattooing, small pimples began to form on my thight an many at the tattoo. 3 days later i had fever at night (just at night). After that, the pimpels began to spread very quickly all over the body. (back stomach etc..) I have now been to 3 doctors and everyone is at a loss. The blood work is fine and with no anomalies. Antibiotic ointment and cortisone ointment did not help. Xyzall allergy tablets did not help either. When i took cortisone tablets, 90% of the pimpels disappeared on the tattoo, but not on the other parts of the body. Now that I´am no longer taking cortisone, the pimpels on the tattoo are starting to grow back again very quick. On the other parts of the skin , the pimpels are sometimes lighter and sometimes stronger. This can be change hourly. They don´t hurt and hardy lever itch. Of course I´am afraid of a tattoo allergie. Has anyone already had this problem ? Does anyone know what that could be ? I add photos: 1) Photo directly after tattooing. 2) 2 Photos with the pimpels after a week 3) After 3 weeks while taking cortisone. 4) Photo of the body on the left.
