@dcostello started the Best/Worst of 2011 and there has been tons of great tattoos posted in the Latest Tattoo Lowdown thread plus the numerous other places you've seen tattoos SO place a picture of your favorite tattoo you've seen and/or tattooed in 2011.... include tattooer name if you know it so the tattooer can get proper credit for it pls and other info if you've got it

I'm flattered! I'll also jump on the bandwagon and go with my tigers. All credit goes to Mr. Lehi. I just had to lie there and take it, and he was kind enough to complete the whole affair in 7.5 hours. And no, I did not get them in one sitting. He actually broke it up over 4, so it wasn't that bad.

Who am I kidding? It was the worst, but at least he's fast.

Really, though, there are so many jawdroppingly good tattoos that I see almost daily--often from our very own @Valerie Vargas and @Stewart Robson, but also from local shops like Blackheart and Spider Murphy's--that I can't pick a favorite on someone else. There's just too much good stuff out there.

I have a total tiger tattoo fetish the now and you cant get much better than those on you Hogg, simply stunning !

I also really love the work by the boys and girls at Custom Inc here in Glasgow and intend to get Billy, Ema and Marcus to Tattoo me in the next year , heres a couple by Billy which I totally love:

There is a really wonderful tattoo by Valerie that isn't up anymore, so instead I will go for second place, which is a tattoo from back in March by Thomas Hooper.

It's probably not objectively his best tattoo of the year, but I really love the choice of subject for this chest piece. It is a far less obviously aggressive animal choice than you tend to get on chest pieces, which is great because swans are as hard as fucking nails. I like the wing positions and it's webbed feet.

This is only a small one, from Chad Koeplinger, but it's one of my favourite animal head tattoos ever. If I were going to tattoo my hands .... (As it is I'd love something in this vein for my feet next year)

There's a lot of larger scale work I've seen that is amazing in a probably more obvious way, but this is the one that popped into my head when I read this thread.
