Bout damn time, too! Looking for it, my man!!!

@Lochlan, wondering, would it even things out if all the actual votes were cast the last week of the month? Don't know how this software works, but in other sites I've admin'ed, there is a poll option, and voting can be opened and closed at will. Just wondering if having ALL the work submitted get the same length of time to collect votes would work. No biggie, just musing.

I should have a couple good ones for September, the competition is always fierce, but hoping Cripwell and Gilsdorf can get me in the running again.

Who are you going to, @hogg ?

I'm going back to Stuart Cripwell for my other knee. @David Flores, you headed down to the Bay? I can't wait to see what you get from Dan. His stuff is so good! Everything is just perfect.

@hogg . Right. Forgot about that one. Short term memory, ya know.

Depending on when I take my trip to the East Coast, I may have something to contribute this month.

My new Eagle tattoo in honor of my daughter and son, done at the Seattle Tattoo Convention by Matt Howse, Spider Murphy's Tattoo. Done in a single session of 7 hours.

I saw that on his Instagram yesterday. It's fucking awesome, and you are a BEAST for sitting 7 hours on your goddamn chest.

Yeah it wasn't easy but well worth it. Matt was great guy and super talented tattooer.

    • Hi, can I hear you opinion about this tattoo
    • @sighthound- I work for an environmental consulting firm. It is a pretty traditional office environment. Lots of men wear ties, women in business attire. No dress code prohibiting tattoos, and some people do dress casual every day, but I just feel that when I'm at work, I want to project a professional image, without distractions. Others may not feel that way, that's fine. If one of my coworkers wants to display their tattoos, thats fine. Is just my personal rule for me. If I go beyond half sleeves, the coverup issue really changes. That 6” difference between half and 3/4 sleeves means I’d pretty much have wear long sleeves full time for the summer, and I really do not want to do that, especially out in the field on hot summer days.  Also, my tattoo life started in my 50s, and is pretty unusual for people my age that are around me. I’m currently tying to get comfortable with showing my tattoos away from work. I really love the way I look with tattoos, and would like to show them sometimes, even though I’m committed to staying covered at work.
    • Thanks for explanation, the shop is not dirty its the best one in my city, and really expensive. I paid almost $100 for this really small tattoo. But your explanation does make a lot of sense, I just thought its what everyone does. I cant wait for it to flake off :P Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
