    Lady Heads

Here are a couple of lady heads that I have. The first one is about 11 years old in the picture. The second one is a couple of days old and healing in that picture after I picked it up last summer (as you can tell by the scab on her upper lip). Both were done by Robert Frazier from Winston Salem, NC.

    Upcoming Tattoos

I just made an appointment to get a tattoo from Jeff Rassier at the end of April. Was hoping to make additional appointments with other tattooers but it doesn't look like it's going to work this time. Pretty hard to make appointments months or years ahead of time when you live in another country. I've recently been wishing Japanese tattoos were my thing so that I could get tattooed locally more often.

  18. @Iwar Thanks man! I got very lucky with that one. I had put my name down months ago in case Koji had any cancellations and I totally forgot about it. Happened to be randomly working from home and got a call from Adorned asking if I could be there in the next hour. Got the okay from my boss, jumped on my bike, and pedaled over. Even got a flat on the way, but still made it haha. Soo stoked that worked out. Particularly happy with the placement of that one. Really glad I had saved that spot!

    Hey!

My name is Corey. I'm a Tattooer from Georgia now working in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm socially awkward, so, I figured networking would help me out. I would like to start doing some guest spots in the near future and I am hoping to meet some new people that can help me out. Hopefully, I can get some photos uploaded soon and I look forward to being a part of this forum.

^ Love those. Quilts and Color comes to the MFA in Boston next week. A lot of what excites me most in art can be found in stuff like textile design, so I'm really psyched about this. Need more tattoos that look like quilts.

  30. I read an article a while back about a surgeon who had an appreciation of tattoos, and felt bad when he had to operate and cut a tattoo. He said that if he had the time, he would spend an extra half hour really working to line up the edges of the tattoo when he closed. I don't recall much about the article, but I got a real sense that he respected the work and wanted to honor the work and take the extra time to address the art as well as the medical procedure. Pretty cool. Makes me think that could be a consideration if it came down to two docs and you had to choose one!

  31. I finished this painting this morning. A friend commissioned it for her two year old daughter who loves Snoopy. It was super fun to do and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The skeleton is for size comparison, and because skeletons make everything better.

  32. I completely agree. I've been getting acupuncture done on and off for the last 10 years or so, and I'm definitely in the 'can't avoid it' category. I've never had any problems. Can I derail for a second and say how awesome my last acupuncture guy was? When I was on my first visit to his office I was looking through his portfolio in the lobby (when have you ever seen a doctor with a portfolio before) and on one page it showed pictures of a surgery being done in Japan when he was working in a hospital where one of his roles was being an anesthesiologist. This patient was getting brain surgery done while he was awake but with receptors being blocked; literally cap peeled back but fully alert and smiling as he sips some water or eats a bite of apple. Mind blown, no pun intended.

    Invisible Radio

I'm sure a bunch of you saw this all over Instagram already, but Troy Denning started Invisible Radio. It's a podcast, and in episode one he interviews Matt Vancura and Chris Garver. It's a little scattered and kinda awkwardly paced, but overall it's a solid first episode. Worth checking out.
