Dean Bloebaum at Infinity here in Portland made this one for me. He has a few cobras in his flash and I've always liked his skulls, so I said "Cobra-dagger-skull" and this is what he came up with. I'm stupid stoked with how this turned out.

Edit: Even before the color was added I thought it was pretty cool. image-7.jpg

Thanks!! She chose to submit this for the tattoo of day contest at the con, and even though the attention was on the tattoo, not me, I felt like I was either going to fall down or throw up the few mins I was on stage showing it off to the judges. Mass attention from people I don't know? The worst!

Soooo, I was trying to take an all-things-tattoo-hiatus until October but the boys were getting tattooed so I thought "Oh, I'll just get a little gap filler from Paul" (like I did the previous day with Bryan Randolph)...and this happened. No really, I can stop whenever I want...

@KBeee. Of course we can stop, sort of. We just choose not to eh

Social media being what it is, my mom saw a picture of the outline of my backpiece and while she wasn't as upset as I expected her to be (she doesn't like that I get tattoos, but she seems to respect that I get them because I like them), she wanted to know that this would be my last tattoo...but after a certain point what does it even matter?

Wow, @KBeee. I've been admiring that panther for a few days now. The pupils kill me! My wife's getting tattooed by Paul tonight--can't wait!

Wait a minute...is she getting a BG thigh piece? I think she may have come by for her consult while Paul was doing my panther.

Ha! Yes, that's her. Paul did both of my thighs, too. I can't say enough good things about him.

    • yep. 4-6 weeks before you really know what you've got.  post a link to the person who you're looking at for re-working it.
    • I'd wait until it's healed so you actually know what it's going to look like before I start looking at having it "fixed." How exactly is the other artist going to "fix" it? I've seen more tattoos that look worse after they are fixed than better.
    • Hello everyone. So I got this rose tattoo two weeks ago. Still healing and I know I want to get it “fixed”. My issue with it is that while it looks like a rose you have to look hard to see it’s a rose. I have an appt. scheduled for April to have it worked on by a different artist (he did a pocket watch on my ribs last year that came out great). In meeting with him he said it lacks symmetry (which it does) among some other things, but he feels he can work on this. Looking for any advice. Is this fixable or is it a lost cause? If it’s not fixable then it is what it is, but Tully hoping for some input. Needless to say, I’ve been so bummed since I got because it didn’t come out how I would’ve liked. Thank you.
