Had the best time at the London Tattoo Convention this weekend @Jade1959 got a couple of great lady head tattoos from Lina Stigson & Mary Joy. I got tattooed by Deno on the Sunday. It was his last appointment of the convention @6pm. He was running a bit late. At 5:45 I saw him putting a stencil on a girls lower leg and I thought no way is he going to get that tattoo done and mine before the convention closed at 8pm. At 6:40 he had finished the girls tattoo and I was ushered over. Deno freehanded the skull on my knee and by 7:30 we were done. Boy is he fast. Deno banger on kneecap.

Got this off Chad Koeplinger at the London convention on friday, I'm proper made up with it! Any one got any advice on healing inner bicep tattoos though? inside of my bicep is black and blue now it hurts like a bitch :D (pic pinched off chads instagram) I got a amazing Butterfly girl head off Paul Dobleman too but didn't get a pic at the time and its a bit too scabby to take one now, had loads of people come up ask me about it on the day!

@gougetheeyes I'll post a picture of my Koeplinger tattoo as soon as it's healed. This will have to do in the meantime: My girlfriend got a ladyhead from Todd Noble and a Leopard/dagger combo from Koeplinger: And I also picked up this little fillergirl from Civ (stolen from his instagram)

Got my little leopard head from Ross Nagle at the London convention on Saturday. Top, top guy and a great tattooer. Terrible pic of my badly swollen inner elbow - the faded black above the head is from an old tattoo that will more than likely be covered at some point. Oh and apologies if the picture is huge, think i should have gone for 'medium' rather than 'large'

Just got a leopard head from Bryan Burk during his guest spot at Black Heart. I couldn't be happier. He's one of my favorite artists and I finally scored a little piece from him.

My boyfriend got his front started by the amazing Steve Byrne in December last year- it's since had one session of colour done and will be finished when Steve is in Australia next or we go visit him in Texas.

It's kind of incredible looking on instagram and seeing all these really great tattoos and then finding out that they're all on people from here. I saw the leopard head on @hogg and the Hyottoko on @robz and thought both were fantastic...looks like @Jade1959 also got a really great girl head from Mary Joy too. Shit, instagram is almost making this thread irrelevant.

@Jack He is so fast but amazingly not particularly heavy handed. Before he got into tattooing he was a graffiti artist. As such he needed to work quickly so as not to get caught by the police or blatted by a train. He's carried that speed over into his tattooing. Deno told me his apprentice was also a graffiti artist and is also pretty quick. - - - Updated - - - You're welcome. I didn't find the kneecap too bad either. My biggest worry is my leg getting the shakes but it behaved itself yesterday.

I just got this tattooed at the Montreal convention by Mike Rubendall. We did 4.5 hours last night, and then finished it in an hour this morning. I'm so pleased with it.

Well thanks! Actually, I never got along with school, and there are a few who would argify the "gentleman" part!

It's not a big deal, but you can imagine how many threads we would have if every time someone got a tattoo they started a new thread, I'm not good at math but probably like a billion or more. But nonetheless, I came her to look at tattoos so thanks for posting.

So i see from the latest tattoo thread! Mine was done by Ross Nagle, more of a snow leopard vibe as it's mostly blue, so happy with it. I'll throw a pic in the other thread after i give it a wash, it's pretty raised right now but i guess that's just because of the location.

@marymary I apologise for being a jerk and making snap judgements. Please don't take that to be at all representative of this place.

deadlifted 102 kg yesterday 2 times in a row. Felt great! Been gaining strenght like there's no tomorrow since i stopped drinking during weekdays. Never realized how much of an impact alcohol has on overal strenght

@Scott R, don't get me wrong, the street is the ONLY place to eat! Thing is, ya gotta watch the stalls ya eat from. I'm in Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (Bangkok) pretty regularly, and I dount I spend $2 a day on food. Most of the street-vendors are clean, but some of them, especially in the tourist areas, just swish the bowls around in klong water...not good. Best place to see the craziness and kick back with a good bowl of pho is just off the corner of Sukumvhit and Nana Soi...go there around 2 or 3 in the morning and you can see every variation of human ever made-it's a trip. The people are almost always friendly, the pho is great, and you just can't beat the atmosphere. But stay off Nana Soi itself, less watching the sick-ass sex-tourists is your thing.

around here it seems like people are into tattoos... sometimes it's cool, sometimes it's kinda strange. Once when I was at a bar, this skinny, pale, wild-eyed guy runs into me, nearly knocking me (and my drink!) over, and goes "I love your tattoo! Will you take a picture with me?" This guy's clearly hammered so I laugh and say sure. I stand next to him and smile while his friend holds up his phone. He looks at me posing, frowns, then grabs my arms and spins me around sideways. Then he leans down right next to my tattoo (its on my upper arm) and takes a picture of himself smiling next to my arm. Then he stumbled away without another word.... haha. his friend gave me this look like, "Don't ask me..."
